Yes, it’s been a while since I’ve done any kind of update on the blog. Apparently, my comments have been spammed by porn and poker sites. I’ve deleted them, but it may still show there are comments that don’t exist. In any case, I just thought I’d drop a little note to say I’m still working on the rewrite. I’m on chapter 18 at the moment and have nine left to do, if I don’t add any new ones. The way things are going, however, there may be two or three new ones before the end. The manuscript so far has jumped in size around 20,000 words. I estimate the finished book to be near 350 pages.

So what have I been doing? Aside from the monumental task of completely rewriting a novel, changing the PoV, etc, I’ve been playing WoW again! Yeah, I know. I try to keep it to a minimum, but what can you do when you’re addicted to role playing games and pvp? Anyway, I’m still trying to finish up this revision. All of the artwork is done, and Henning did an incredible job. I’d post the cover art, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise when it’s finally in print. If I had to give an estimate on that, I’d say 3-4 more weeks of writing and another two before it’s listed with the printer. The final part is fairly quick, since all we’re really doing is replacing the electronic file the printer uses.

Once this book is finished, I will be rewriting book two as well. The third novel in the trilogy, as I’ve stated before, is completed. Unfortunately, it will have to be rewritten as well. The changes I’ve made in the first book will have affect on two and three. So far, the novel is a big hit with the beta readers.
