I recently answered some questions in regards to writing over at Allie’s Musings, a blog by Allie Boniface. Give it a read, if you have some time.
I’m still working on chapter nine. I’ve been distracted with finishing Bioshock and just haven’t been in the mood to write the past few days. I’ve got two friends who aren’t feeling so good, Kasim and Tascha, so hopefully they feel better soon.

See what happens when I try to post a new blog every day? Bam! Nothing for weeks! haha Actually, what happened was that I decided the time was better spent working on the revision. I only manage to get a few pages a day done, so if one or two of those (time-wise) are spent writing a blog entry, then the novel gets pushed further back. I’m half way through finishing chapter nine, the half mark for the novel if my guestimations are correct, so I’d rather get that done as soon as possible. Not to mention, the release date for Hellgate (Oct 31) is looming. I wanted to finish writing before it came out, but I just don’t write that fast.
Some things that have been occupying my non-writing time are Bioshock (great game, but a little nerve-wracking for me) and I just got into the beta for Mythos (thanks Taylor!). I did some writing for Kaos War as well. I’ve been tasked with designing the quest system, so I laid the groundwork for that and detailed some examples. I also put together a screenplay for the game’s demo. No ETA on when that will be completed and released.
I was just informed that The Last Incarnation has been made into an extra credit project for students in Mrs. Clazie’s class. Melissa and I are friends from way back at ASU. I may just have to put her in charge of marketing. For her students, I’d be happy to answer any questions if you have any. Enjoy the read, and the second book will be ready in a few months.
I have a few extra copies of The Last Incarnation, so if anyone has been wanting to read it and dreading the price of a POD, send me an email with a mailing address. I promise I won’t sell you to a mailing list…
